How to Manage Tasks, Sharing, and Account Data?

Find the settings entry by purpose, distinguishing between organizing, logging out, and deleting.

First Find the Corresponding Settings

Open the sidebar user menu and select "Settings." General is for interface language and appearance, Personalization is for custom instructions and notes, Security is for account security and session operations, and Data Control is for shared tasks and task cleanup. First determine whether you want to adjust preferences, stop public access, or delete content, then enter the corresponding section.

Distinguish Objects Before Cleaning Data

Deleting tasks, deleting notes, revoking sharing, and deleting accounts each have their own entry points. "Delete All Tasks" in Data Control will clear tasks, messages, and attachments, but saved notes need to be managed separately. If you only want others to no longer access the link, use revoke sharing; there is no need to delete the original task for this purpose.

  1. Organize conversations: use the sidebar task menu.
  2. Manage public links: Settings → Data Control → Shared Tasks → Manage.
  3. View notes: Settings → Personalization → Manage Notes.

Account-Level Actions Require Additional Confirmation

Settings → Account provides the entry to delete the account, which requires verification and confirmation via a dialog box and is irreversible. Logging out only ends the session; it does not delete data. The Privacy Policy explains retention and request methods; backups, logs, or records retained by law may have different retention periods; do not interpret deletion on the page as all copies disappearing instantly. Before deleting, you can first organize a brief list by data category.
