How to Delete Your Entire Hackcat Account?

Understand This Operation First
Deleting your account will remove all account data, including tasks, settings, and personal information. This action is irreversible. It is different from logging out, deleting a single task, or clearing notes. Before proceeding, save any materials you still need; if you have simply logged into the wrong account, you should log out and switch accounts instead of trying to recover original tasks by deleting the account.
Verify Through the Deletion Dialog
Go to Settings → Account → Delete Account. The system requires you to have logged in within the last ten minutes; if your current login does not meet this requirement, the dialog will prompt you to log in again and then return. When eligible, enter your account email, then type DELETE in uppercase. After confirming the information is correct, proceed with the deletion.
- Complete the required recent login verification first.
- Return to Account Settings and open Delete Account.
- Enter the correct email and DELETE, then confirm on the interface.
What to Do After Completion or Failure
Wait for the deletion process to finish. Upon success, you will be returned to the homepage; if it fails, follow the prompts to retry or use the actual provided help entry. Deleting and recreating an account will not reset quotas or referral eligibility. Backups, logs, and records retained as required by law are handled according to the privacy policy, so do not interpret account cancellation as an immediate zeroing of every stored copy. Double-check the current account before entering your email to ensure you are deleting the identity you intend to close.
