How to Regenerate the Last Answer?

Retrieve the answer again when available, while retaining your own judgment.

Situations Suitable for Regeneration

When the last answer is unclear, poorly structured, or you want to see an alternative organization, you can use regeneration. If the answer lacks key input, it is usually more effective to first supplement the facts; repeatedly regenerating the same insufficiently informed question will not automatically fill in the environment and evidence you have not yet provided.

Check the Message Operation Area

Look for the "Regenerate Answer" button below the last assistant message. This button only appears when the corresponding state allows it; it may be unavailable if the process is not yet finished or if the message is not the last one. If you want to keep the current version for comparison, you can first copy its important content.

  1. Confirm that you are viewing the last assistant answer.
  2. Click "Regenerate Answer" when the button is available.
  3. Read the new result and compare key facts item by item, not just the wording.

Regeneration Is Not Verification

The new answer may provide different wording or judgments, but the change itself does not indicate which version is correct. For conclusions involving actual test results, you should refer back to the original input, tool outputs, or public sources for verification. If the task involves practical operations, do not treat regeneration as a mechanism to undo or guarantee that actions will not be repeated; first clarify whether you want to reorganize the answer or continue working. If what is missing is evidence, prioritize supplementing evidence before requesting a new judgment.
