What to Do If a Model Shows as Locked or Cannot Be Clicked?
Troubleshoot based on permissions, loading status, and billing availability.
First Distinguish Between Locked and Loading
The model menu may be checking access permissions or explicitly indicating that a certain plan or extra usage is required. A brief unselectable state during checking does not mean the account has lost rights; explicit locking means you must first meet the displayed conditions.
The options provided by different current modes also differ from the behavior of the free Agent; you should judge based on the task interface you are currently using.
Check in Order
Do not repeatedly click purchase or create accounts. First confirm your login identity, then check your plan and the actual prompt.
When taking screenshots for troubleshooting, you can capture only the model name, lock prompt, and current mode, hiding personal account information. If the text explicitly requires extra usage, check that setting first; do not confuse it with whether the computer is online, as these separately control model access and tool execution.
- Go to Settings → Account to confirm the currently logged-in account and plan.
- Return to the model menu and wait for the permission check to complete.
- Read the locked option description and check the extra usage status if needed.
- If the upgrade entry is unavailable, first use models that are already open.
How to Record Issues
If your account status and prompts remain contradictory, record the model name, current mode, occurrence time, and error text without sensitive information. Do not send payment card information or login tokens. Being unable to select a model does not affect your ability to view old tasks; you can keep it for verification and continue once access is restored.
