How to Switch to Another Hackcat Account?

Log out of the current session first, then log in with the correct identity.

First Confirm Why You Are Switching

When you want to use another email or handle tasks from a different account, first confirm your current account and the target account you want to switch to. Similar nicknames do not necessarily indicate the same identity; focus on the actual login information when judging. Switching accounts will not automatically transfer tasks, notes, or preferences from the original account, nor is it an entry point for merging accounts.

Log Out and Re-select Identity

Select "Log Out" from the sidebar user menu, or log out of the current device via Settings → Security. After returning to the login page, use the target account information; if the site window shows remembered accounts, you can choose "Use another account." When the browser prompts for service provider account selection, make sure to select the correct identity as well.

  1. End the login session of the current account.
  2. Reopen the login page, select another account or enter the target email.
  3. After logging in, check the account information and task list.

Don’t Rush to Delete After Switching

If the tasks you see differ from your expectations, first verify your identity, then decide if you need to log in to another account. Do not solve the problem of logging into the wrong identity by deleting or recreating accounts. Data from the original account should be managed within that original account; simply switching devices or browsers does not prove that tasks have been transferred.
