Where to View Saved Notes?
Check information retained across tasks through personalization settings.
When to Check Notes
You can view the notes list when answers repeatedly reference old context, you have changed your usual technical direction, or you want to understand what information has been retained long-term. Notes may be used across tasks, so outdated information is worth addressing promptly. Viewing notes is more direct than guessing what the system has saved based on a single answer.
Open and Manage Notes
Go to Settings → Personalization → Manage Notes, then click "Manage." The window will display saved notes, with prompts during loading; if there is a lot of content, you can scroll to continue viewing. If it shows no notes, understand this as there being no saved content in the current list, not that all historical tasks are displayed here.
- Enter personalization settings and open Manage Notes.
- Wait for the list to load and read each entry.
- Note any entries that are inaccurate, outdated, or no longer needed.
Choose Appropriate Actions After Checking
The list offers options to remove individual entries or delete all; if only one entry is outdated, there is no need to clear all notes. To stop future saving and use of notes, you can also disable the enable notes switch. Note content differs from custom instructions; when adjusting long-term expression preferences, you should also check what you have filled in custom instructions. Regularly reviewing long-term context can reduce misunderstandings caused by old information.
