What to Do When You Need a Copy of Account Data
Distinguish between routine saving, usage export, and formal privacy requests.
First Clarify Which Type of Content You Need
If you only want to keep the result of a specific task, you can copy the message or download the actual attachment; if you need to understand personal information related to the account, that involves different scopes of requests. Before starting, specify whether you need the task text, files, notes, or other data to avoid mistaking a partial download for a complete account backup.
Do Not Confuse Existing Export Options
The current data control interface does not have a unified button to export a complete account or chat history. If you see an Export CSV option for usage records, it exports the loaded usage data only, not the full task text, original files, or all personal information. For routine saving, use message copying, file downloading, and note viewing functions separately.
- List the categories of data you truly need to keep.
- Use existing copy and download functions to save materials that can be directly obtained.
- For copies of other personal information, refer to the privacy policy’s request instructions.
Privacy Requests Are Handled According to Actual Rules
The privacy policy states that rights to obtain certain personal information copies depend on applicable regulations, and requests may require identity verification. Provide the necessary information as publicly explained; do not proactively send login verification codes, account tokens, or entire sensitive content to prove identity. Help content cannot guarantee fixed export formats, immediate processing, or recovery of deleted data.
