How to Make Hackcat Save Notes Usable Across Tasks?
Organize stable information into titled personal notes.
What Notes Are Suitable for Saving
Notes are used to retain personal information, work agreements, or verified findings that will be needed later and can be saved across tasks. They are different from the chat content, file attachments, and temporary to-dos of a specific task, and are not a complete backup of all conversations automatically saved.
It is suitable to save concise, stable, and useful information, avoiding mixing large amounts of raw logs in a single note for a long time.
Clearly Request Saving
When the notes feature is enabled, you can say, "Save the following confirmed environment description as a note, titled..." Specify which parts are facts and which are still to be verified, and provide categories or tags if necessary.
For example, you can save a commonly used report format as a brief note, including column order and evidence requirements, rather than saving the entire text of a specific report. In the next task, you still need to explain the current objective; notes only provide stable preferences and cannot replace new materials and facts.
- Go to Settings → Personalization to confirm that Notes are enabled.
- Provide a clear title and the content to be retained.
- Wait for the actual saving result, not just the model's verbal confirmation.
- Check the saved content in Manage Notes.
How to Maintain Accuracy Later
When information changes, have Hackcat update the original note to avoid creating conflicting versions. Information no longer needed can be deleted in Manage Notes. Saving notes affects references in subsequent tasks, so do not store sensitive credentials that do not require long-term use; key conclusions should retain sources or verification dates to help identify if they are outdated later.
