How to Insert Line Breaks, Paste Materials, and Avoid Accidental Sending?

Learn about the send key in the input box and how long texts are handled.

Understand Keys Before Typing

On a desktop keyboard, pressing Enter in the input box triggers sending, while Shift+Enter is used for line breaks. When preparing to paste multiple paragraphs of logs or code, first place the cursor inside the input box, then check if the paragraphs remain readable. Mobile soft keyboards may have different layouts; you can use the send button on the page to submit without strictly following desktop shortcuts.

Organize Messages for Easy Understanding

First write a sentence stating the question, then insert the relevant materials, and finally add output requirements. Try to keep times, filenames, and error codes in the materials as they are; if content is omitted, explain in text that some parts have been cut. Before sending, scroll through the input area to check the beginning and end, ensuring that materials from two different issues are not mixed together.

  1. Use Shift+Enter to separate the question and the materials.
  2. Check the pasted text and the current task.
  3. When ready, click the send button or press Enter.

When Content Is Too Long

The system may prompt that the pasted content is too long; some available Agent scenarios will convert long texts into attachments. Do not assume every mode will automatically convert. When prompted, you can provide key excerpts, supply content in stages, or use the attachment entry actually available in your current account. Just because the input box can hold the text does not mean all materials have been fully understood. Logs can be segmented by event order, and code can be labeled with filenames to help answers accurately correspond to different materials.
