How to Connect and Select Multiple Computers Under the Same Account?
Establish connections separately and clearly specify the target host before sending tasks to avoid mixing files and tools.
Establish Connections One by One
Go to Settings → Remote Control to view existing connections. To add a machine, click "Connect Another Machine" and copy the command to execute on the new target computer. Computers using the desktop application should open Hackcat and log in with the same account, then wait for the desktop connection to establish. Each machine must meet its own operational and network conditions; a successful connection on one machine does not replace configuration on others.
Use Environment Selection as a Pre-Send Check
The connection list usually displays machines by host name, with different status text for desktop and CLI. After switching to Agent, open the environment selector, choose the desired computer, and clearly specify the working directory and scope in the task. Different machines can have the same directory names, but files, installed tools, and network permissions may differ; do not assume the program has switched execution environments just because a certain machine name appears in the prompt.
Consider Other Machines When Maintaining Connections
If the target computer goes to sleep, exits the application, or stops the CLI, it may become unavailable, and other online machines will not automatically have its files. When restoring, handle it on the corresponding machine and then verify the selection. Resetting the account connection token affects existing connections, so only use it when there are clear token issues or credential risks. To end CLI use on a single machine, usually press Ctrl+C in the running terminal on that machine first.
