Why does it still indicate the selected computer is unavailable even though there is an online computer?

The available connection differs from the currently selected one; especially when restoring old tasks, verify the target machine carefully.

Check the current selection instead of total connections

The presence of online computers in the settings list does not mean the Agent is currently selecting them. The pre-send check targets the selected environment: for the local desktop, it also checks its own connection status; for other machines, it must match the current selection. First expand the input area environment selector, verify the computer name and connection type, and do not assume execution is possible in any environment just because the list shows a green indicator.

Old chats may restore the original machine

When reopening an existing task, the interface can restore the environment saved with that task, even if the machine is temporarily offline. Changing the default environment for a new task does not automatically move files from old tasks or alter past execution results. If the original task depends on the old computer, prioritize restoring that machine; if you really need to change environments, first clarify what has been completed, where the target directory and dependencies are, then start the new execution.

Confirm with read-only results after selection

After selecting an available computer, check whether the returned system information or specified directory listing meets expectations. Especially when multiple machines share the same name, do not test by performing write operations. If the correct machine is selected but connection checks continue, wait for status synchronization or use the corresponding reconnection entry. Cloud and local permissions exist independently; do not interpret “another computer is online” as cloud access already being granted.
