How to Pin Frequently Used Tasks?
Place frequently used tasks in easily accessible locations and unpin them when appropriate.
Select a Small Number of Tasks to Frequently View
Pinning is suitable for ongoing work, frequently referenced instructions, or discussions that need to be continued later. First, give the task a name that clearly identifies its purpose, then decide whether to pin it. Having too many pinned tasks reduces search efficiency; tasks that are opened less often can be managed through project categorization or search.
Operate from the Task Menu
Find the target task in the sidebar, open the options menu, and select "Pin." Pinned tasks will provide an "Unpin" option. After completing the operation, check the display position or status in the sidebar; if saving fails, the interface will notify you. Do not assume success based solely on clicking.
- Open the options menu of the target task.
- Click "Pin" and confirm the change in the sidebar display.
- After finishing the work, select "Unpin" from the same menu.
Understand the Scope of Pinning
Pinning is a way to organize the task list; it does not make tasks public, nor does it start or pause any tool operations within them. Unpinning also does not delete task content. Use projects when you need to group a set of tasks together; use the separate deletion process if you need to clear content, to avoid confusing list organization with data deletion. Regularly check whether pinned tasks are still in progress to keep the pinned area small and clear, making it easier to return to current work.
