What are the improvements of Pro+ compared to Pro?
The basic functions are the same; the focus is on comparing included usage and usage frequency.
Suitable for users who have already been using Pro steadily
Pro+ inherits the features of Pro, mainly adding included usage. It is more suitable for individual users who frequently perform longer analyses, multi-round Agent tasks, and already clearly understand their consumption in each usage cycle.
If you only need a feature already provided in Pro, such as file upload or cloud environment, first compare whether Pro is sufficient. Pro+ does not automatically make each model smarter, nor does it guarantee fixed acceleration for the same task.
Like Pro, using Max with Pro+ requires meeting additional usage access conditions; related requests are directly counted as extra usage. The higher included quota of Pro+ does not cancel this rule.
Comparison of price and usage
The public price is $60 per month; annual payment is equivalent to $50 per month. The annual payment column shows the average monthly cost; for the actual full period charge, please refer to the checkout page. Online paid upgrades are not yet available.
Pro+ has a higher included usage, but this cannot be converted into a fixed number of messages. Please refer to the actual quota shown in your account Usage; different model tiers, long context, and tool calls will affect the consumption of a single task.
When to consider upgrading if you already have Pro
First observe whether you consistently use up your quota before the end of the cycle. If you only occasionally have long tasks, and Extra Usage is available and open, you can also compare the difference between temporarily supplementing usage and increasing long-term subscription.
Before changing plans, check the payable amount for the current transaction and the next renewal price on the confirmation page. After payment, verify the new plan and quota; do not try to regain full quota by repeatedly switching plans.
