How to Open Tasks and Start New Conversations on Mobile?
Get familiar with sidebar access and task switching on narrower screens.
First, Open the Task Sidebar
On narrow mobile screens, the task list is usually expanded via a sidebar button. After entering an existing task, an "Open Sidebar" entry may appear at the top; a blank page also has a corresponding task sidebar button. Confirm the task name from the list before entering, which is easier to know your current location than relying on continuous browser back navigation.
Separate Actions for Switching and Creating New Tasks
When continuing previous work, select the corresponding task from the sidebar; when starting unrelated work, use the "New Task" entry. In some mobile layouts, a new task button is also provided at the top of the task. Before sending, confirm the current title and input content, especially when you have just switched from one task to another.
- Tap the top sidebar button to expand the list.
- Select an existing task or tap New Task.
- Confirm the title and mode, then enter and send your question.
Desktop Buttons May Be Located Elsewhere
The mobile version does not always display all the buttons shown at the top on desktop. For example, when you need to share or rename, check the options menu in the sidebar task instead of assuming the feature is missing. When entering multiple lines of text, rely on the current soft keyboard and send button; after an action, wait for the status to update before proceeding to avoid creating duplicate tasks. Long titles may be truncated on narrow screens; it is more reliable to open the task and verify the content than to judge by partial names.
