How to Create a Public Share Link for a Task?
Check the content first, then open the share window to generate the link.
First Confirm if It Is Suitable for Public Sharing
Public sharing is suitable for displaying discussion processes or results that can be made public. Anyone with a valid link can access the shared content, so you should check all the text in the entire task, not just the final answer. If the task contains client information, goal details, or conclusions that are not yet suitable for public disclosure, first organize the content that is appropriate to share.
Opening the Share Window Automatically Generates the Link
Select "Share" from the top of an existing task or from the sidebar task menu. When the share window opens, the link is automatically created; if a share already exists, the sharing scope will be updated. The link is generated immediately, not only after you click copy. Once generated, you can preview and use "Copy Link," then send it to others as needed.
- Check the task content before opening the share window.
- Select Share, wait for the link to generate, and view the preview.
- After confirming it is appropriate, copy the link; if not needed, revoke the share promptly.
Check the Public Display Effect
The share page displays messages within the sharing time range and uses placeholders for files and images; it is not the same as sharing the original attachments. Do not consider the brief preview in the popup as the full list of publicly shared content; it is best to open the actual share page to verify. To stop public access, go to Shared Task Management in Data Control and revoke the share.
