What content is displayed on the share page?

Understand the sharing time point, subsequent updates, and attachment placeholders.

The scope of shared conversations

A valid public link can be accessed by anyone who obtains the link, without requiring them to log into your account. Shared content is filtered by the messages up to the sharing time point; do not consider the feelings on a single answer or the brief preview in pop-ups as a guarantee that "only this message is shared." Before making content public, you should review the previous user inputs and assistant responses in the task.

How subsequent messages are updated

New messages added after sharing will not automatically be included in the original sharing scope just because the conversation continues; when you reopen the sharing window, the existing share will update the time point to include new messages. Therefore, reopening the share is a worthwhile action to check, especially if materials originally not intended for public sharing were added later in the task.

  1. Check the entire existing task before sharing.
  2. Open the actual public page to verify the display effect.
  3. Recheck new content before each share update.

Attachments display has boundaries

The public message interface replaces files and images with placeholder information instead of exposing the original file download links. However, any information you write directly in the text, quoted text, or image captions should still be carefully reviewed. If you need to deliver original files, use appropriate separate methods and do not promise recipients that they can download the entire task file package through the share page. Before redistributing, verifying the actual public page is more reliable than only checking titles.
