Does Canceling Subscription Automatically Trigger a Refund?
Distinguishing between stopping renewal, refunds, unused quota, and billing deductions.
Cancellation of Renewal and Refunds Are Handled Separately
Canceling a subscription is generally used to stop the next renewal and does not automatically refund the amount already paid upon clicking cancel. A normally valid subscription can usually be used until the end of the current paid period, subject to the account's end date and status.
Credits shown during plan adjustments are not necessarily cash refunded to a bank card. They may be adjustment items within the subscription bill; you should check the corresponding bill rather than assuming all negative amounts represent refunds.
Current Terms Description
The current service terms state that, except as required by applicable law or otherwise explicitly specified, refunds or compensations are not automatically provided for partial periods, unused quotas, downgrades, or unused seats. The Help Center does not make additional commitments to "unconditional refunds" or fixed refund windows in days.
Extra usage balances are not equivalent to withdrawable cash and cannot be transferred. The consequences of canceling, closing extra usage, and deleting accounts differ; when balances are involved, first review the terms and keep necessary transaction information.
When You Need to Verify a Charge
Prepare the payment date, currency, amount, order or bill number, and the cancellation or change operation you actually completed. Verify through the bills or support channels provided by the account; do not send full card numbers, verification codes, or login keys.
This article explains the current website terms and operational distinctions and does not replace your specific billing conclusions; whether an approved refund exists should be based on a clear handling result.
