How to Resume a Paused Subscription Early?
Resuming requires a valid payment method, and successful results should be based on the account and billing status.
First Confirm the Account Is Actually in a Paused State
During the pause period, the account may show as Free, but pause records and scheduled resume dates are retained. Open Settings → Account to see if there is a “Resume now” option. This process is different from purchasing a plan for the first time on a free account.
If the account is still in the “Pause scheduled but not yet effective” stage, it may offer to keep the current plan and cancel the upcoming pause; do not mistake this for a deactivated subscription that needs to be repurchased.
Resuming Will Reprocess Subscription and Payment
Resuming early will attempt to re-establish an active subscription using the plan from the pause record and the saved payment method. Resuming is not simply canceling a page prompt and may incur actual charges; please confirm after understanding this.
If there is no saved payment method, payment fails, or the account has other billing restrictions, resuming may not succeed. Please update the payment method based on clear errors or use the account’s provided re-subscription entry; do not repeatedly click resume.
Checks After Completion
- Check whether you receive a success message for resuming or a prompt for additional payment actions.
- Return to the account to confirm the current plan and next renewal schedule, then check Usage.
- If the status is still Free and there is a payment error, resolve the corresponding billing issue first; if payment was made but not synchronized, check the payment status to avoid duplicate payments.
